Top 5 Fastest Cars in the World, Ranked
5. SSC Tuatara — 295 MPH
The creator of SSC North America, Jerod Shelby, drove his newest hypercar in the Nevada desert in October 2020, reportedly clocking an average speed of 316.11 mph. But the data from that session was quickly destroyed by the internet, which was doubtful and disproved it. Shelby moved to the Kennedy Space Center’s proving grounds in January 2021 for a redux, bringing lots of recorders and outside observers. During that test, the vehicle reached 286.1 mph on a southbound pass and 279.2 mph on a northbound run. The Koenigsegg Agera RS is surpassed on this list by the SSC Tuatara thanks to those (certified) figures, which average 282.9 mph.

4. Hennessey Venom F5 — 300+ MPH (Claimed)
The Venom F5 from Hennessey Performance Engineering takes the mantle from its elder sibling and soars. With 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 ft lbs of twist from a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V-8, the 2,950-pound coupe reaches 60 mph in less than two seconds. In case you were wondering, the name is a tribute to the strongest category of tornadoes on the Fujita scale, the F5.

3. Bugatti Bolide—311 MPH (Claimed)
Inspired by the Vision Le Mans idea from the Molsheim factory, Bugatti’s Bolide combines the brand’s revolutionary W-16 power unit with an imaginative X-themed design language to produce an estimated top speed exceeding 311 mph. Supported by a lightweight monocoque made of titanium and carbon fiber, the Bolide has a futuristic look that goes well with the performance figures, which are said to be otherworldly. One of those specifications is a zero to sixty mph time of fewer than two seconds.

2. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport — 304.7 MPH
Bugatti holds the top title as the fastest supercar in the world. Pilot Andy Wallace raced an 8.0-liter, quad-turbocharged Chiron Super Sport with 1,600 horsepower around the Ehra-Lessien circuit in 2019. The body was lengthened by ten inches, lowered, and equipped with a new rear aero kit in addition to a new exhaust system. The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, which were x-rayed prior to fitting to guarantee flawless structural integrity, were the true heroes, though.

1. Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut—330 mph (Claimed)
The innovative Light Speed transmission on the Swedish manufacturer’s 5.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine can manage its incredible output, which can reach 1,600 horsepower when using E85 biofuel. The Jesko’s aerodynamics, which in the limited-edition Jesko Attack model generate more than 3,000 pounds of downforce, are even more impressive. We believe the ordinary variant of the Jesko should be able to reach (and probably surpass) Christian von Koenigsegg’s estimated top speed of 278 mph, even if all 125 of the vehicles are currently sold out. The fastest, the Jesko Absolut, is said to be able to achieve 330 mph with aerodynamic modifications, drag reduction, and stability enhancement. With the Jesko Absolut, Koenigsegg is anticipated to set a new speed record some what in this year.
